As other communities have succumb to the influence of "growth and development", marvelously Uintah preserved the ambience that I fell in love with as a lad. The characteristics that are admired by outsiders invite new comers and compel generations to remain here while provinding most of the advantages of the "big city". This was no accident! Thanks to Uintah's unselfish, wise, hard working leadership and caring individuals that live here, we have the impressive Uintah of today. These qualities that we much enjoy are a treasure that must be preserved.
