Leadership is Action,
                    not Just a Position

Leadership.  The other "L" word.  The quality that community leaders are supposed to have and use.  But what is leadership?  Would you know it if you saw it?  Would you know how to use it if you had it?  Is it a choice, a position, a calling?

As City Officials you are in a position to lead your communities, which is commonly easier said than done.  Sometimes the daily minutiae can get in the way of the bigger vision required to move our communities foreward.  This is where leadership is required.

Leadership comes in many shapes and sizes and it is not as elusive as you might think.  But it does require effort.
